I think that rant video was misdirected. I am just angry at ignorance and actual racism. So when a white person sees me and my friends doing something that is funny, and could be perceived as racist, it’s my fault if I don’t education them or explain my motives. When I speak in a voice like that, it’s because I legitimately identify with that demographic. I understand why people think it’s funny, or something that’s funny to replicate. I think it’s funny sometimes too, but sometimes I’m a little too sensitive about it.

I wasn’t offended about white people trying to be black. I do it all the time, and I understand the humor in the same way I understand a black person pretending to be white, or a straight person pretending to be gay. I love the “shit people say” videos. I think I just had too much of it in a too-concentrated amount of time, so I apologize for my rant earlier.

I don’t apologize for being offended and standing up for my beliefs about racism, but I do apologize for going off about the little things when I was really bothered by the bigger things.
